Important information for all NEW students to Columbine HS,
including incoming 9th graders

  • Round 1 choice applicants will receive offers or waitlist positions on January 29, via the email you specified when applying.  You will have three days to accept an offer; only one offer may be accepted.
  • Round 2 Application Window opens January 21st. Offers or waitlist positions will roll out in the order they have been received, beginning February 24th.
  • If on a waitlist, you will remain on that waitlist through Round 2 and be sent an offer if space becomes available anytime during that window. If you accept a waitlist offer, any previously accepted offer is automatically void to allow other students the spot if needed.

Enrollment and Registration for
New and Returning Columbine Area Students

  1. If you are new to our District, start by going to Jeffco Connect.  From the website, select FAMILIES on the toolbar, then Family Portal logins then Jeffco Connect.  Choose "New Parent/Guardian to Jeffco Schools" and begin the process of setting up a new parent account.   If the student has ever attended a Jeffco School, DO NOT set up a duplicate account.   Please call the Registrar to reset the password to access the original account.
  2. Once you have created your parent account, click on “Add a New Student” and enter the information for each student you need to enroll in Columbine High School.  After you have entered all of your student information, hit “Submit”.
  3. Log in to using the same Username and Password that was used for Jeffco Connect and submit your school enrollment selections.  After you receive notification of enrollment from Columbine, you will be contacted by the Registrar to arrange a time to provide the following required documents:
  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Immunization Record
  • Proof of Residence (lease agreement, warranty deed, or utility bill)
  • Copy of 504 Plan or IEP if student was previously enrolled in special education classes
  • Copy of Behavior or Discipline Report and Attendance Records
  • School Report Card or transcript of grades and credits.
  • Any Court Ordered/Legal Documents/Guardianship Papers

  1. Since you are returning to Jeffco, you already have a JeffcoConnect account. DO NOT create a new account.  Please call the Registrar to reset the password to access the account.  If you have moved to the Columbine boundaries/attendance area, or are submitting a Choice Application through EnrollJeffco to attend Columbine, log in to JeffcoConnect to change your parent address. Then change the address of each student you have enrolled in a Jeffco school. Be sure and change the address for all parties living within the same household.
  2. Once you update the JeffcoConnect account and make your school selections in, contact the Registrar at Columbine High to arrange a time to provide the required documents as listed above.
  3. The school locator map can be found at
