The Staff and Students at Columbine HS have caring hearts.  We love our community and want to give back.  Our student body participates in various philanthropic capacities by volunteering at shelters, sponsoring canned food drives and fundraising for families and non-profits.  When we say, "We are ALL Columbine", we mean it.

Most recently, along with the Chatfield community for the annual Powder Puff competition, we raised over 15,000 cans for the Stepping Stones Support Center.

On November 15th, our Unity in Action club is hosting the biannual Coffee Jam to raise money for the non-profit agency, Food for ThoughtCoffee Jam is a talent-filled evening featuring students showing off their talents in music and poetry.  Our Commons is converted to a "coffee-house", complete with couches, warm lighting, a stage and an endless supply of coffee and sweets.  All levels of talent are welcome.  It is a lovely evening enjoyed by all in attendance.

Our biggest give back is the annual Day of Service on April 20th.  In an effort to honor those affected on this date in 1999, we have adopted the motto, Remember, Reflect, Recommit, dedicating the day to serving our community and inviting others world-wide to do the same.  Governor Polis wrote a proclamation claiming April 20th forever be a "Day of Recommitment"
